Comprehensive RV Inspections
Every RV has a story to tell and R Factor RV Services is committed to sharing this story so you can make an informed and confident buying decision.

Our comprehensive RV inspections use the process and standards developed by the NRVIA (National RV Inspectors Association). We perform a limited, non-invasive, visual inspection of the Recreational Vehicle and provide a written report identifying the defects observed and deemed material.

    •  Roof inspections and sealant touch up
    •  Complete roof sealant refresh. Our sealant has permanent flexibility to absorb expansion and contraction.

RV System Education & Operational Support
Buying a new RV should be fun and exciting but it's also overwhelming. There are many systems to understand and many RV owners become frustrated and make mistakes because they can't remember everything that was explained during the delivery of their RV.

R Factor RV Services offers you an alternative; education & operational support that's personalized and available when you need it.

Meet Us

Your Inspector & Technician, Chris Ratcliff
I'm Chris Ratcliff, Veteran of the United States Navy, and owner of R Factor RV Services. I am bringing over 10 years of experience as a technician, over 20 years of experience as a customer advocate and transferring my knowledge and experience into the RV world. I want to help people make informed buying decisions and maintain their RVs.

Living the full-time RV lifestyle since October 2016, along with my wife Tracey and dog, Tipper, I've learned, firsthand, that finding qualified inspectors and getting RV repairs done properly and timely is harder than it should be. I decided to leave my corporate job to help others who share my travel passion and the RV lifestyle.
NRVIA Certified RV Inspector Chris Ratcliff
Our Story
In October 2016 we sold our house and over 30 years of personal effects to travel, explore and enjoy the beauty of our country. Since we are not retired and work full-time remote jobs; our motivation was why wait until retirement.
Our First RV and Inspection
Buying our first RV was one of the most intimidating tasks we've ever done. The research took months, the education was confusing and the options available were extremely overwhelming. Our first RV inspection was extremely basic. The inspector did not test any of the life safety systems and only verified that the RV was roadworthy and would turn on.
For example: we later learned that our propane detector did not work, and it had exceeded its service life.

Considering the knowledge, we've gained; we would never buy an RV without getting a comprehensive inspection conducted by a certified RV inspector.
